Account Coordinator
Decatur, AL
Contract Position
We have a 28 year history staffing for meaningful companies highlighted through the care for each of our employees and our clients position is a part of a world-class sustainable chemical company making great products for ng a wide range of petrochemicals products, the group of products are Feedstock, PET, Packaging, Fibers and Recycled products.
Responsibilities :
- Play a pivotal role in the organization by owning the customer experience from start to finish.
- Act as a liaison between our customers or suppliers and IVXP’s on-site logistics group, freight coordinators, sales, and commercial managers.
- Manage the entire customer interface which encompasses order processing, delivery management, post-transactional support, and account closure for all products.
- Coordinate externally sourced final products, including imports.
- Serve as the key point of contact for our valued customers and is dedicated to ensuring their satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Manage end-to-end supplier or customer interactions, including order processing, delivery, post-transactional support, and invoicing for assigned products
- Coordinate customs clearance process with contract custom services provider
- Serve as a liaison between logistics, manufacturing, finance, and sales departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration
- Ensure all purchases, sales, or return orders are entered into SAP
- Collaborate with IVL Sales Managers to cultivate customer loyalty by providing exceptional service and addressing specific account needs
- Lead the setup process for new suppliers and customers, collaborating closely with sales managers and finance teams to establish new accounts
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by assessing and streamlining procedures and processes for simplification and standardization
- Thoroughly understand the terms and conditions outlined in sales contracts
- Monitor supplier and customer shipments for any issues, utilizing rail supplier interfaces and on-site tracking tools while understanding shipping constraints
- Interface with the finance department for month-end reconciliation processes
- Work closely with sales team, production planner, logistics, and finance to ensure orders are correct, released and deliveries are scheduled as needed
- Handle all supplier and customer infringement notifications and communications, working closely with relevant parties to achieve resolution
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related degree or 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in customer service, logistics, business, manufacturing or related fields
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system
- Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Good interpersonal and public relations skills
- Strong organization skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong problem solving skills and analytics
- Sound business acumen, ability to understand and analyze data in-depth, recognize root causes, and issue recommendations to management and team members
- Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree and 5 years of chemical manufacturing experienceSupply Chain Certifications - APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
