In this role, you will be responsible for the following :
Quality Assurance File Prep :
Initial preparation of loans selected for quality assurance review to include preparing QA files, file prep set-up with QA software, oversight of the credit documentation, identifying missing credit documentation, requesting missing documentation, and following-up, execute re-verification process as required by Agency, as well as obtaining MERS, NMLS, acceptable 4506-C to obtain IRS transcripts.
Loan Administration :
- Collecting data for monthly QA reports, monthly QA scorecards, and data points from QA watch list.
- Compile, disperse, and follow-up on the QA Office open finding reports from ACES.
- Primary function : upload complete loan files requested for audit in the required order for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, all MI companies and Plains Capital Bank (WA) as well as the missing document requests which require inquiry to the lender, follow-up and uploading for timely resolution.
Post Purchase Quality Assurance :
- Complete Pre and Post Purchase Component Reviews on an on-going basis to capture deficiency trends to assess compliance with investor, insurer, and guarantor requirements.
- Monitor follow-up of QA conditions.
Personal Development :
- Participates in training that will benefit the Association and the individual as it relates to the job.
- Works toward Association’s goals and be a team player.
Interpersonal Relationships :
- Assist with training staff of the QA File Prep processes on an as needed basis
- Demonstrates good working relationships with co-workers and supervisors, brokers, realtors, appraisers, builders, and the general public.
May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements :
Qualification required for this role are the following :
- A four-year degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience is desired.
- Two plus years’ experience with file documentation and compliance preferred.
- Proven ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, business customers and clients.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
