This position is responsible for
The Director, Sales Operations oversees business analytics and reporting to support forecasting and analysis of sales, costs and operating expenses.
S / he is responsible for keeping accurate sales records, assisting in modification of existing processes, supporting and implementing budgets, and allocating resources to reach company sales goals.
This position is also responsible for monitoring operational performance and leading business meetings to recommend changes to operations, as well as providing strategic sales planning and forecasting at regular intervals.
The Director, Sales Operations manages the Sales Administration and Contracts Administration groups as well. S / he will work in conjunction with the Breg Finance and Commercial Leadership to execute on identified initiatives, reporting, and sales enablement projects.
Your day will be very busy you will :
- Oversee Sales Operations functions including territory design, quota management, sales compensation plans and independent representative agreements, commission cycle management, and sales pipeline and forecast on direction and in connection with Sales Leadership.
- Function as business lead for Sales CRM design and execution, with inputs and direction from Sales Leadership.
- Oversee Sales Administration functions including Oracle pricing management, discount and deal approvals, consignment program, and third party distributor sales tracings and rebates process.
- Partner with finance and executive staff on budgets and forecasts for revenue, commissions, and sales operational expenses.
Prepare analytics supporting business strategies and investment decisions.
Manage the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensure appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation;
perform administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
Assess staff and provide timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance.
Work with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluate training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
Partner with National Accounts team to ensure all contract administrative functions are available, including RFP and RFI processes, product cross references, margin analysis for contract bids, and administration of GPO and IDN contracts.
What your background will be :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related field required. Master’s level education preferred.
- Experience with Contracts Administration is preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience to include increasing responsibility in sales operations roles or equivalent experience in finance or accounting roles.
- 5+ years of experience managing others.
- Advanced analytical and technical skills are required.
- Computer proficient to include Microsoft Project, web browser / internet search, MS Outlook, MS Office including Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce presentation-ready slides in PowerPoint.
Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Experience with Oracle advantageous.
- Must be comfortable leading executive level meetings and with public speaking.
- Must be able to work independently and cross-functionally with a team.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail.

Pay Range - $165,000.00 - $195,000.00
