What you bring to SBHG :
- AA degree + 5 years experience in a Mental Health field.
- Bachelors Degree + 4 years full-time experience performing non-professional, consumer-directed services in a mental health, health care, or other social services agency / organization OR Masters degree in a related field + 2 years of experience as above
- Six years’ experience, specifically in areas of Mental Health field with troubled youth, Juvenile Court System or Youth Public Benefits programs.
- Valid California Driver’s License and current clear DMV printout.
- MFT or LCSW intern preferred
How you will make a difference :
This position has primary responsibility for assisting the Center Director in directing and supervising program staff and providing back-up to the Center Director during his / her temporary absences.
The Program Coordinator may be responsible for the daily activities and operation of the Center, including direction to staff and problem solving.
S / he maintains liaison with county and state agencies, community organizations and other organizations. S / he oversees the client intake and admission process and has primary responsibility for oversight and coordination of all referrals.
