  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience with product marketing in cybersecurity, working across one or more marketing fields (i.e., growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience creating product marketing content for enterprise software or positioning Business-to-Business (B2B) / enterprise security products and services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in marketing, business or a technical field.
  • Experience in marketing security products used in cloud or SaaS environments.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple product management and marketing teams.
  • Experience launching and marketing technology solutions globally.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and structured thinking skills.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security, for Google Cloud you will take part in an end-to-end marketing experience as you guide every facet of the product's journey.

From crafting positioning, naming, competitive analysis and external communication, you shape the representation and perception of products and solutions, and help grow their customer base.

This means you work with a cross-functional team across product management, engineering, corporate communications, sales, and more.

You’ll be responsible for driving product marketing for a range of cloud platform security capabilities that help organizations protect their cloud applications, data, and identities.

You will generate high-impact ideas, clearly prioritize work, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive them to completion.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product management to define and deliver differentiated product positioning. Launch new Google Cloud security products into the market.
  • Drive awareness of Google Cloud security products by defining a compelling narrative and engaging with key influencers.
  • Create innovative technology showcases for Google Cloud security products.
  • Inform marketing campaign strategy and create compelling customer-facing marketing assets.
  • Enable sales to close business with compelling narratives, tools, competitive intelligence, and training.
