Head of Development

A company is looking for a Head of Development to lead fundraising and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with leadership to design and execute engagement strategies for business opportunities and major donors

Identify and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations

Build and manage a pipeline of prospects and partners, balancing short-term and long-term initiatives

Required Qualifications :

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in institutional fundraising, preferably in biotech or biomedical environments

Proven track record of securing principal grants and gifts of $5M or more

Strong strategic planning and project management skills

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

Experience in a research or technology-driven nonprofit or startup environment is preferred
