Job Description :
Join our dynamic Cloud Engineering team as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and evolving our cloud infrastructure solutions.
Your expertise will shape the future of our cloud adoption, applying innovative solutions to complex problems. This is a central role that impacts all aspects of our business in a team recognized as a center of excellence for cloud technology.
Key Responsibilities :
- Stay updated with evolving cloud technology trends
- Guide other technology teams in using cloud services securely and efficiently
- Develop and deliver training materials for cloud services to our technology teams
- Drive the modernization of our cloud deployments
- Provide and maintain shared, reusable cloud deployment code and configuration
- Ensure solutions meet relevant security and resilience standards
Skills Required :
- Deep knowledge of multiple cloud services
- Proficiency in troubleshooting issues in cloud infrastructure components
- Ability to decompose complex problems into discrete work units
- Comprehensive knowledge of core infrastructure capabilities : operating systems, networking, identity, and access
- Comprehensive knowledge of tooling used to test and manage infrastructure components
- Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a diverse range of audiences
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and relevant qualifications
- Proven experience and knowledge of either AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Knowledge of container runtime platforms such as AWS ECS, EKS or Azure AKS
- Experience with Hashicorp Terraform and HCL
- Software development and testing experience, including CI / CD
- Strong knowledge of modern security principles and technology
- Relevant cloud certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of Java and Groovy is a bonus
- Experience of working in a regulated environment is beneficial
