BSMS Adjunct Assistant Professor Faculty School of Health Professions Requisition
The Department of Health Sciences in the School of Health Professions invites applications for the position of Part-Time Adjunct Faculty position to assist with the development and implementation of genetics courses in the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Sciences program.
This position will begin as soon as possible and will be responsible for teaching courses in the Spring semester.
Primary Responsibilities include :
- In conjunction with Departmental leadership, develop genetics course content for a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences program.
- Develop online course modules, including lectures, study materials, and assessments.
- Develop core curriculum outlines and work with faculty to identify key roles
- Collaborate with program leadership to develop comprehensive examination materials
- Create program and course learning objectives aligned with the mission of the program, school and UT Health San Antonio.
- Other duties as assigned relating to the BS in Medical Sciences Program.
Faculty may also engage in collaborative scholarly activities. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in community, professional, and university service activities, as appropriate.
This is a part-time ( month) adjunct position and reports to the Program Director of the BS in Medical Sciences program.
Qualifications : The qualified individual should have a Master’s Degree (Doctoral preferred) and have experience in an undergraduate setting.
