This position can be considered for an alternate work location for no more than two days per week.
POSITION OVERVIEW :
Responsible for the coordination, installation, operation, troubleshooting, repair, monitoring and maintenance of the server systems, including, but not limited to, the operating system, 3rd party software, backup jobs, and system logs.
Works closely with the System Engineer, on implementation and management of the production server systems, including capacity planning and disaster recovery.
Provides troubleshooting of server and system issues. Responsible for maintaining Active Directory and all user permissions.
Performs responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
The essential functions of the System Administrator (SA) includes but not limited to :
- Administers a predominately Windows Server infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, Print / File Server, Active Directory, and several other ancillary services in a VMWare environment.
- Administers all 3rd party applications such as : Agilysys Infogenesis, Agilysys Stay, Scientific Games Suite, Sage, etc.
- Works closely with 3rd party vendors on implementation and deployment of new deployments and updates.
- Plans, tests and deploys operating system and software patches within the designated environment.
- Analyzes system logs to determine areas of concern, weakness and potential vulnerability.
- Performs routine audits of systems, software and access.
- Develops documentation of each system, how it operates and troubleshooting guides.
- Recommends software and system enhancements, as required.
- Manages and tracks support tickets to ensure internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and end-user productivity remains high.
- Manages and supports Microsoft Cloud based applications (Office 365, Azure)
- Maintains Active Directory and all user permissions.
- Provides support consistent with a 24 / 7 environment, including occasional nights, weekends and holidays.
- Provides support and assistance to the Network Engineers, Database Administrators and Technicians, when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Associate degree in Computer Technology or Computer Information Systems required and / or a combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Three (3) years of progressive IT experience required.
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or MS Certified Professional (MCP) preferred.
CompTIA Network + Certification preferred.
CompTIA Security + Certification preferred.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

repetitive motions. This person may regularly lift and / or move up to 30+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to focus.
ENVIRONMENT :
The environment characteristics describe here are representative of those a team member may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position.
Primarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and / or Hotel.
May also, from time-to-time be exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement system, as is common in a Casino and / or Hotel environment.
Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel (LECH) operates in a 24 / 7 environment.
PROPERTY REQUIREMENTS :
In support of LEC&H’s Pride in Property values, this position, like all LEC&H positions, assists with the daily cleaning of public and team member spaces, ensuring all team members properly cleaning (to property standards) and sanitized;
examples of daily cleaning protocols include but are not limited to the cleaning of work areas, machines, equipment, using cleaning and sanitizing agents and report of any and all cleanliness issues.
