Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a Billing Manager to support one of our clients on an interim basis for a 3+ month project.
This Billing Manager will lead a critical billing clean-up project that will help our client get back on track and set up processes to make things more efficient within the job function.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and optimize the entire billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead a small team of billing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Sage Intacct accounting software, including billing setup, reporting, and analysis.
- Possess a deep understanding of project cost and billing principles, ideally within the construction, engineering, or architecture industries.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify billing errors, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to streamline billing processes, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in billing management, preferably in a professional services or project-based environment.
- Proven expertise in Sage Intacct accounting software.
- Strong understanding of project cost and billing principles, especially within the construction, engineering, or architecture industries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
