Litigation Paralegal
LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Litigation Paralegal to join our client u2019s dynamic law firm, which specializes in commercial litigation, mass torts, toxic tort litigation, and class actions.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated and detail-oriented, with at least 1+ years of recent US law firm experience. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Kansas City, Missouri.
Responsibilities
Manage and organize case files, including electronic and paper documents
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence
Prepare for depositions, including scheduling, witness preparation, and exhibit organization
Assist with trial preparation, including creating deposition summaries, trial binders, and exhibit lists
Handle e-filing of documents in state and federal courts
Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Word (including advanced formatting) and Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) is required and will be tested!
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to learn new legal case management software, document storage, and filing systems quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
1+ years of previous Civil Litigation experience in a US law firm is required
Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base salary of $52,800 per year
Lucrative bonus structure based on firm performance and paid out monthly

Note : This position requires an on-site presence in our client u2019s Kansas City office from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM daily.
No remote or hybrid work arrangements are available.
Pay Details : $52,800.00 per year
