Host / Hostess
The Bowery Group is seeking a responsible, kind, and hardworking individual with a positive and professional attitude to join as a Host / Hostess! Our ideal candidates will bring genuine passion for service, hospitality, and enjoy working in a fast paced work environment.
Candidates must have :
- A minimum of 1 year working in Hospitality or Guest Services, preferably in NYC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with OpenTable & Resy
- Scheduling flexibility, willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, or holidays
- Friendly outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction
- Ability to act with grace and professionalism under pressure
- Patience, empathy and a the ability to be a courteous listener
- A can-do attitude in response to guest requests
- Passion for restaurants, food and hospitality, and all of the tasks required to excel in this position
- An eye for detail and care in regards to the cleanliness and the appearance of the restaurant
- Work well in teams and have a commitment working cohesively with all restaurant staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
