Position Summary
As a Host / Hostess you should have experience with Upscale Dining service, as well as excellent knowledge of the NYC food and drink scene.
Weekend availability is non-negotiable.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $18 to $20.

This position will remain open until November 1, 2024
About the Venue
Peak is a premium restaurant located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards; in a State-of-the-Art building with panoramic views and situated above Edge the highest outdoor observation deck in the city.
A luxurious destination with breath-taking views of lower New York City.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests as they enter, providing them with menus and answering any initial questions.
- Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.
- Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
- Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
- Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
- A knowledge of the menu.
- Helping with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
- Providing great customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
- Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
- Restaurant experience a plus.
- Weekend availability is a must.
