Main Functions
- Provide a positive customer experience with friendly, courteous service.
- Direct preparation of station deli food menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with all food sanitation, handling, and storage requirements.
- Operate cash register, Oregon lottery machine, and credit card terminals
- Clean counters, work area, and equipment throughout shift.
Additional Functions
- Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the position including paperwork and scheduling
- Maintain a team environment with other employees and departments
- Other duties as needed to help maintain a clean and professional environment.
Duties / Requirements
Responsible to report to work at the scheduled time; be a team member who can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner;
be conscientious about assignments
- Will accurately handle money to include cash, checks, debit, credit or house charges.
- Will have a strong attention to detail
- Will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Will have excellent customer service skills
- Will work independently and be self-motivated
- Will do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- Have an excellent attendance record
- Be available to fill in for co-workers on vacation or sick time.
Working Conditions
- Will stand and walk for duration of shift
- Regularly maneuver up to 20 pounds
- Exposure to variable temperatures (indoor, outdoor, walk-in cooler)
- Work with cleaning solvents and chemicals
- Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products
