Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is looking for an Operations Research Analyst 3 to support the Joint Force Development Research and Analysis for Joint Staff J7(JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques.
  • Devises modeling and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.

and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.

  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field.
  • General knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems.
  • Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;

0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
