Junior Operational Research and Systems Analyst

Employee Type : Full-Time Location : Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) - Suffolk Job Type : Engineer / Analyst Experience : 3+ Years Clearance Type : TS / SCI AERMOR is seeking qualified candidates with a solid background in Operational Research Systems Analysis to provide support to the Joint CONUS Directed Over-the-Horizon Radar (J-CONDOR) project.

Responsibilities Include : Conduct research, obtain relevant documents and directives, and establish liaison with appropriate sponsors and other interested participants Apply test and evaluation methods and techniques such as test design, analysis, and evaluation to carry out assigned tasks of the J-CONDOR Joint Test (JT).

Provide assistance in the execution of the J-CONDOR Project Master Plan (PMP) and Detailed Test Plan (DTP). Assist in test planning and preparation, data collection training, test article training, test execution, and other JT&E Program Office (JPO) requirements.

Develop and update test articles identified in the PMP and DTP. Travel to various locations within CONUS in support of site visits, training, and conduct of meetings including Joint Warfighter Advisory Groups (JWAG) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) Writing Groups (TWG).

Provide input to the development of the Field Test 2 (FT-2) DTP according to the JT&E Program Handbook. Provide and execute a detailed data management and analysis plan to collect, manage, analyze and evaluate test data to answer test issues.

Assist in conducting Risk Reduction Event (RRE) for FT-2 to emphasize quality control, calibration, data collection strategy, key nodes, and desired data metrics.

Provide inputs to the field test Quick Look Report (QLR). Manage the collection and storage of test event data, conduct data verification tests, identify data discrepancies, and make recommendations for resolution.

Assist with sorting, consolidating, and reducing data to applicable data for analysis and present the status of the data to the JT Technical Director and JT&E Action Officer for data certification.

Perform trial reconstruction and analysis of test data. Provide conclusions from test findings to answer test issues and sub-issues that lead to an assessment of problem statement resolution.

Assist in developing written findings, conclusions, and recommendations for input to the Final Report. Document lessons learned during conduct of JT for input into the Lessons Learned Report (LLR) and provide advice for resolving programmatic and test execution problems encountered.

Assist with finalizing and transitioning all products to responsible organizations to include recommended changes to existing Joint and Service publications and drafting training materials for Service Schools.

Required Skills and Experience : 3+ years of experience in the field of Operations Research. Bachelor of Science in Operational Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Master of Science is highly desired) . Experience with problem description, test concept, data management, analysis, and evaluation, test products, and estimate of resource requirements.

Experience with various software tools including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and JMP statistical software. Exhibit the capacity to independently develop and implement experiment designs.

Exhibit the proficiency in creating and utilizing analytical tools on their own, including ANOVA, Generalized Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Factor Analysis, Means, Medians, Percentiles, Deviations, and Multivariate Analysis.

Proven capacity to develop automated analytical toolsets as necessary. Academic and practical application of the verification, validation, and accreditation of modeling and simulation is highly desired.

Possess the ability to support data collection and test execution within DoD installations. Must have the ability to quickly comprehend the customers' overall technical objectives and mission and provide effective solutions. Powered by JazzHR
