Miller & Miller, a Milwaukee based bankruptcy law firm seeks an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial-minded associate to practice primarily bankruptcy and various federal consumer laws.
You will handle Chapter 7 bankruptcies.
We are a high volume firm looking for someone with a desire to help change clients’ lives. The ideal candidate will be an outcomes-focused professional, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent conflict resolution skills, is proficient in time management techniques that support the execution of high volume caseloads, and has a willingness to learn and continually improve their knowledge base.
Duties include, but are not limited to :
- 341 hearing coverage,
- Preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions, schedules, financial statements and filings related to the commencement, continuation and conclusion of such cases,
- Drafting pleadings and memoranda of law,
- Attending hearings,
- Maintaining excellent client service for all assigned cases, and
- Tracking case work through our case management systems.
