Your role in our mission
Support SDLC architectural activities on all change requests. This includes helping gather information on the request entered in Service Now;
and documenting a scoping inventory document that is the template used by the TennCare (State) architecture team.
- Assisting TennCare Account (GW) personnel in presenting the Demand Requests to get an approval to move forward.
- Attend the TennCare Architectural weekly meetings hosted by the State and attend team workgroup meetings to represent the TennCare account.
- Support the activity surrounding the documentation required for the System Security Plans that are required by contract to support the various application systems at TennCare.
These SSP documents must illustrate and describe how the NIST requirements are met and fulfilled.
Support the documentation of how disaster recovery is supported on each critical portion of the overall solution at TennCare.
These documents document how DR / Business continuity is met and maintained by TennCare.
- Assist the Infrastructure architect in guiding the design, development, and support of technical solutions as it relates to specific areas of the infrastructure.
- Work with Data architects to help in leading strategy as it relates to the; physical, logical, and conceptual data modeling.
Additionally, we assist to ensure all standards and policies are met in regard to data integration, mappings, and security.
- Assisting account data and operational SMEs in troubleshooting any performance or abnormal anomalies
- Work with the Solution or Application architect in the review of solutions and deliverables to the client to ensure the proper standards and policies are being adhered to.
Your role in our mission
- Serve as a SME for the subsystem areas and work with the other architects and SMEs in each area. Providing oversight of work product reviews.
- Thoroughly document the entire solution using architectural COTS products, like LeanIX or SparX.
- Mentoring and collaborating well with peers and other teams within the TennCare account. This requires excellent leadership and communication skills
What we're looking for
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience serving in an Enterprise, AWS, or Cloud Architect role
- Healthcare experience
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud solutioning
- Extensive experience with AWS migrations
- Experience with cloud and system Integration solutions
- Experience using LeanIX and / or SparX

The pay range for this position is $95,100.00 - $135,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
