With an emphasis on wide format printing. Our goal is to provide all the printing needs to customer either through our production or outsourcing.
Job Summary : As Print Shop Customer Service Specialist / Print Production Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service from start to finish.
You will handle customer inquiries, process orders, provide product information, and resolve issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
Additionally, you’ll assist in operations of machines, print production and finishing. Your goal is to ensure a positive customer experience and support smooth and efficient operation of the print shop.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction : Greet and assist customers both in-person and over the phone. Provide knowledgeable answers to inquiries regarding print products, services, pricing, and order status.
Order Processing : Accurately take and process customer orders. Ensure all specifications, quantities, and deadlines are properly communicated and understood.
Quoting : Prepare and provide accurate quotes to customers based on their project requirements. Ensure clarity and transparency in pricing.
Customer Follow-Up : Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the estimating and production process. Provide updates on order status and follow up to any pending estimates.
Product Knowledge : Stay informed about our range of products and services, including printing techniques, materials, and finishes.
Offer recommendations and solutions tailored to customer needs.
Issue Resolution : Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Work with other team members to find solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Support : Assist with upselling and cross-selling of additional products and services. Identify opportunities to increase sales.
Quality Assurance : Ensure all orders are processed accurately and meet quality standards before delivery or pickup. Verify final products against previous samples.
General Accounting : Perform general accounting tasks, including invoicing customers and receiving payments. Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of financial transactions.
Administrative Tasks : Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and feedback.
Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
Excellent spelling and grammar.
Knowledge : Familiarity with printing processes and terminology is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications or certifications related to customer service or print technology are advantageous.
Experience : Previous experience in customer service or retail, preferably in a print shop or related industry.
Working Conditions :
The work is performed in an office and print shop environment.
Physical Demands :
The work is regularly active with periods of medium exertion. Typical positions require the worker to walk or stand for short periods of time and lift and carry up to 35 pounds;
bend, kneel and crouch and use fingers to operate computer keyboards. The work requires the ability to speak normally and to use normal or aided vision and hearing.
