Responsibilities
Coordinate and / or lead assigned program(s).
- Monitor program plans, schedules and budgets. Recommend alternative actions based on tracking outcomes.
- Coordinate, organize and support program promotions to targeted audience.
- Document and track program progress compared to goals.
- Coordinate and prepare reports, materials and presentations to support program leaders.
- Coordinate and / or lead program tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Education :
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
- Bachelors degree in social work, counseling, nursing, case management or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 2 years experience working with victims of crime (domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault).
- Comfortable working within the City of Detroit and surrounding communities, work hours are flexible and may include weekends and holidays.
