QC Manager Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement QC / QA Program
- Ensure Specs are being met with Submittals
- Orchestrate the Pre-Installation Meetings
- Manage the Pour Card Sign-Off process- Concrete and Trade Sign Offs
- Manage the Wall and Ceiling Sign-Off / close-in Process
- Manage and track the Trade Inspections (DALT, Hydro Tests for sprinkler, plumbing and mechanical, Building Envelope, etc...)
- Manage the Third Party Special inspections / process - (Concrete break reports, Compaction, Steel Inspections, Precast connection reports, Fire Proofing, etc...)
- Periodic Job Inspections
- Review and respond to Design Professional observation reports
- Ensure specs and details are being met with installation procedures.
- Manage and maintain testing and inspection schedule and log.
- Maintain testing and inspection reports and records (on-site and off-site), including required manufacturer reports (on-site and off-site) as required by the specifications.
- Schedule and Manage Design Professional inspections.
- Implement and Manage the Punch list process.
- Review and formulate responses to Special Inspection deviation reports and Owner QA / QC reports.
