We are working closely with our Central Ohio client to identify a Power BI Data Analyst . The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and develop data visualizations that provide insights into complex data sets
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions to support decision-making
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in data, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and optimize performance
- Manage data governance and data quality, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Communicate data insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously improve the usability and functionality of the business intelligence platform, and stay up-to-date with Power BI advancements and best practices
- Provide training and support to end-users, and promote data literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis
- 2+ years of experience in Power BI development
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in data warehousing and ETL processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
- Experience in data governance and data quality management
