Description
The Maintenance Worker II is accountable for maintaining and up keeping Luther Ridge buildings, grounds, and equipment. Additionally, they perform maintenance work on walls including sheetrock, taping, and painting.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Respond promptly to work orders and perform repairs on facility equipment and systems under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
- Maintain and repair Luther Ridge physical plant, focusing on sheetrock, taping, and professional painting. Also, maintain and repair contents and resident equipment.
- Assist in sustaining a preventative maintenance program on equipment and supplies.
- Aid in the repair of movable and permanent equipment in the building as needed, including A / C, heating, electrical, lighting, plumbing, emergency generator, fire alarm, sprinklers, beds, wheelchairs, medical equipment, and lifts.
- Provide assistance in renovating rooms as directed, including painting, floor, and ceiling repairs.
- Use heavy machinery to strip and wax floors as directed.
- Assist in snow removal as needed.
