Join our growing and compassionate IUHP Â Cardiology team! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work closely with our Electrophysiologists for our AFib Center of Excellence!
Position Details :
- Full Time, Day Shift Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm No weekends, no callÂ
- 50% Inpatient, 50% OutpatientÂ
- Practice at Methodist Hospital, AFib Center of Excellence
- Learn from and growth with 20 physicians and 6 APPs
Responsibilities
- Inpatient responsibilities include consults for patients with AFib, AFib with heart failure, candidates for AFib ablation or Watchman device, and patient education.
- Outpatient responsibilities include management of AFib patients, hospital follow up for AFib, patient education and some involvement in AFib research.
Qualifications :
- Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Masterâ€s Degree required
- Will accept an ACNP, AGNP, ANP, FNP or PA If new graduate, ICU / PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or Cardiology experience during clinical rotations requiredÂ
- Cardiology / EP experience preferredÂ
- Ideal candidates have excellent critical thinking skills, are able to multitask in a high intensity setting, and have confidence in their clinical skills to function top of scope.
