The Process Technician sets up machine parameters using established molding set-up sheets for the mold being set. Monitors machine processes and parts to ensure product meets established quality standards and cycle times.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in process or molding technician is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installs molds when needed
- Ensuring mold is installed properly & safely on machine platens
- Installs, sets up and ensures all needed axillary equipment is functioning correctly
- Demonstrates the ability to operate hoists and other equipment in a safe manner
- Understands how to confirm / install / set ; water lines, die height, ejection stroke, nozzles, heaters, hot runner controllers, hot oil heaters, and other equipment
- Follows and understands how to adjust machine parameters according to the mold set-up sheets
- Starts machines up, checks the part quality, has QA confirm and puts the machine in production, notify the Supervisor and operator
- Ensures machine is set to run at standard cycle time
