Robert Half is seeking a versatile Office Manager for a company with operations based in Dobbs Ferry, New York. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, from managing daily office activities to financial account analysis.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Pivot between various tasks, such as generating reports in QuickBooks and coordinating office needs.
- Manage scheduling and coordinate meetings to facilitate effective time management.
- Conduct account analysis and handle accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for analytical work and to assist in the creation of presentations.
- Maintain calendar management to ensure all appointments and deadlines are met.
- Order necessary office supplies and equipment to ensure a well-functioning workspace.
- Proficiency in accounting functions, including but not limited to, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Strong skills in calendar management, including scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments
- Proficiency with QuickBooks for managing financial tasks and reporting
- Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros
- Ability to perform account analysis to ensure accurate financial records and reports
- Demonstrated ability to manage and organize office operations and procedures.
