As a Materials Engineering Intern at MANN+HUMMEL, you will gain hands-on experience in the field of materials engineering, working on a key project that you will manage throughout your internship.
This 6-12 month program offers the opportunity to support various departments, develop improvement concepts, and present your results to the leadership team.
Main Tasks
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and execute a key project assigned for the duration of the internship.
- Provide support to the assigned department
- Develop and present improvement concepts to the leadership team.
- Engage in hands-on work to understand business processes and challenges.
- Learn and develop with the support of experienced colleagues.
Your Profile
Education and Experience :
- Actively pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing company is preferred but not required.
Skills :
- Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
- Willingness to take responsibility for projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to multitask in a collaborative team and office setting.
- Understanding of basic laboratory work environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Interest in filtration and production technologies, with a curiosity to learn and develop within a manufacturing plant.
Additional Information :
- Internship duration : 6-12 months.
- During school : 15-20 working hours per week.
- During school breaks : 20-40 working hours per week.
