Acera Surgical is looking for an Associate Product Manager (APM) to join a growing, fast-paced, innovative marketing team.

This individual may work remotely in the Eastern or Central time zones and will also travel domestically to support sales trainings, conferences, and other field activities.

Previous medical device experience is required.

This role will work with the Sr. Product Manager to support the development of new product strategies, business cases, and market research.

In this role, the APM will execute assigned product and program launch activities, including launch materials, communications, and training, and learn from the program development and launch processes.

Additionally, the APM will support the coordination of project deliverables with cross-functional teams made up of representatives from Marketing, Sales, R&D, Clinical, and Regulatory.

The successful candidate will bring a high level of business and creative acumen and demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Become a product expert on soft tissue healing and be able to understand and articulate the features and benefits of Restrata to both healthcare professionals and sales representatives.
  • Understand, manage and develop a program for assigned surgical specialties, from a general background perspective as well as how to position our products within each specialty.
  • Develop and deploy training and educate customer-facing teams on our products, ensuring a deep understanding across the organization.

Handle technical calls on Acera products as needed.

  • Regularly support surgeon visits and tradeshows to represent Acera Surgical and understand the voice of the customer.
  • Work collaboratively with the graphics design team to craft new product documentation, including case studies, brochures, web content, and videos.
  • Collaborate on product specifications and market introductions, contributing valuable insights to the growth strategy.
  • Conduct comprehensive customer research through surveys, focus groups, and field visits to influence product enhancements and innovations.
  • Stay well-informed of market trends and competitive landscapes, providing key intelligence to shape product development and market positioning.
  • Support strategic product management initiatives, aiding decision-making processes.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable laws, AdvaMed guidelines, and Acera’s policies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, science, or engineering.
  • Previous medical device experience is required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in project planning, sales, support, marketing, or research and development.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a professional environment.
  • 2+ years' experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Platforms, and other digital marketing software.
  • Exhibit excellent written, oral, and presenting skills.
  • Work independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams with technical and non-technical skill sets.
  • Takes initiative and ownership over processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in Eastern or Central US time zones.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%. Overnight travel required.
