Assembly Technician

Our Assembly Technician

Will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting chargers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical assembly and a passion for advancing green technology.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct tests on assembled chargers to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Identify and address any issues or defects.
• Diagnose and repair any assembly issues or malfunctions during the assembly process, working closely with engineering and quality teams to implement solutions.
• Accurately record assembly processes, test results, and any modifications made during the assembly. Maintain thorough documentation for quality control and auditing purposes.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Provide feedback to engineering teams on design improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production, to ensure seamless integration of assembly processes.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, preferably within the EV or automotive industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. Strong understanding of electrical components and systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to electrical components.
• Relevant certifications in electrical assembly or manufacturing are a plus.

Job Title and Compensation :

The base compensation range for this position is between $20.00 and $30.00 an hour, based on full-time employment. Actual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
