We are currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our team. JOB SUMMARY : The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) serves as a key member of the Human Resources (HR) Department.
The (HRG) alongside the HR Director (HRD) and HR Manager (HRM) serves the dual role of employee advocate and management liaison with employees.
The HRG must be resourceful and flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of the Hospital. This individual is responsible for HR functions that include but are not limited to employment and onboarding processes, new hire orientation management & presenting, employee training, compensation, employee relations, worker’s compensation, benefits, and other employee services.
The HRG alongside the HRD & HRM functions as a consultant with Hospital management for helping with employee relations. The HRG is responsible for the input of all of the employee electronic records into the Lawson HR database.

Qualifications Education : Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a hospital, long-term care, or healthcare setting with a minimum of on-year experience working within a HR Generalist field.
Must have new hire onboarding and credentialling experience. Knowledge : Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
decision-making and problem-solving skills; adept in use of routine office equipment; efficiency in computer programs; ability to handle information as strictly confidential. Additional Requirements :
- Employment law knowledge essential.
- Must be able to handle sensitive material and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to occasionally work flexible or extra hours, including some weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with recruitment techniques in healthcare, HR database software, benefits administration, specific knowledge of the day-to-day operations of an HR department.
- Strong computer skills and technical capabilities,mincluding Microsoft Office, HRMS (e.g., Lawson), ATS (e.g., iCIMS), & Onboarding programs (e.g., Cisive)
- Able to manage multiple priorities, think tactically and strategically, demonstrate objectivity, be results-oriented, and show initiative and creativity.
- Must be flexible, work well under pressure, and have ability to readily adapt to change.
