The Intensive Inpatient / Outpatient Program Therapist assists in the bio-psychosocial assessment, case management and treatment of patients under the supervision of the Director of Outpatient Services.

Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living and communication with referral sources and families, works closely with marketing and AR to communicate referral sources and hospital discharge planner.

Therapist develops, organizes and implements clinical and program activities; directs the implementation and ensures compliance with JCAHO and other related agencies and standards which promote optimum health care delivery.

The Therapist is responsible for participating in performance improvement activities, addressing deficits, identifying new problem areas and developing plans of action.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health counseling. Current license from the State of Nevada, LCSW or LPC required.

Must have minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric setting.
