Summary : Assists with the day-to-day accounts receivable function, with a principal focus on collections, as required for supporting Pinnacle's departments and business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Monitor the Company’s accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
• Contact customers with overdue accounts for collection.
• Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent accounts as well as records of pending and collected payments.
• Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Performing accurate financial reporting of accounts receivables data in the Company’s subledger.
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status.

Education / Experience :

Two to four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses :

Valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities :

• Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk.
• Ability to be tactfully persistent in the collection of past due accounts.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software. (NetSuite preferred)
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• People skills including possessing a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate in a diplomatic and professional manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong mathematical knowledge.
