Job Summary
Adjunct pool applications are reviewed on an as-needed basis.
Seeking qualified, experienced instructor for the Health Professions Division. This division contains the following programs : Certified Nursing Assistant, Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Practical Nursing, Registered Nursing, and Surgical Technology.
This position has been identified as being capable of performing job duties by using remote teaching modalities. This may include any of the identified modalities by the Online Learning Department.
Typical Job Functions
- Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content areas, both technical and general education, and other related activities
- Develops related instructional materials (such as syllabus, lectures, course materials, evaluation tools, classroom activities, and others)
- Maintains consistent office hours
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of industry-related or teaching experience in one of the program areas listed above
- Ability to obtain Idaho CTE certification
- Additional licensing or state / accreditation requirements as required
- Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI doesn’t sponsor H-1B Visas)

Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Sitting, standing, walking, keyboarding, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, gross manipulations (involves hands).
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and / or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
Onsite work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required.
Background Investigations :
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and / or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position.
