Garden Spot Village, part of Garden Spot Communities, is currently seeking a Volunteer Services Director Assistant for Part Time Days working between 8am to 4pm, 4 hours per day.

Garden Spot Village, located in New Holland, PA, is a Retirement Community offering innovative options for residential living, and also wellness and healthcare services.

Job Title : Volunteer Services Director Assistant

Status : Part-time

Schedule : Between 8am-4pm, 4 hours per day

Salary Range : $17-$18 / hr

What will I do in this role with Garden Spot?

• Complies with established policies and procedures and maintains established standards and practices including the Compliance Program / Code of Conduct.
• Follows Residents' Rights policies at all times.
• Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
• Treats all information about residents, their condition and family as confidential information.
• Coordinates monthly documentation of volunteer hours and prepares monthly reports.
• Schedules and substitutes volunteers.
• Maintains and updates volunteer lists, schedules, and miscellaneous volunteer records.
• Connect new volunteers to opportunities and organize training.
• Assists with annual volunteers appreciate event and other special volunteer events.
• Cooperates with all departments requesting volunteers.
• Assists Director of Volunteer Services in other duties as assigned.

• Ability to adapt easily to change and to create an encouraging environment for volunteers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to keep and track accurate records.
• Excellent computer skills are essential for this position.
