Engineering Manager
Role Description
Anritsu is growing and we're looking for a detail-oriented Engineering Manager to join our America's HQ team in Elk Grove Village, IL.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing team, serving the Americas Region.
The Mechanical Engineering Manager will oversee day-to-day tasks related to mechanical engineering projects, including managing teams, leading projects, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software.
This role will involve on-site work in the Greater Chicago Area and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Assembly, Sales, Product Development / R&D, and Service.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management skills
- Project Management and Team Leadership abilities
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) - SolidWorks is highly preferred
- Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience as a Design Engineer for Machine Manufacturing
- Experience designing capital equipment for the food industry is strongly preferred
