Responsibilities
Position provides full-time dedicated support to Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director for Acquisition and Program Support (DAX) developing and maintaining acquisition-related IT tools.
MDA program offices develop, procure, and produce MDS components (weapons, sensors, battle management, etc.). DAX implements acquisition policy and processes for Agency procurements.
DAX develops and maintains tools to assist program offices with acquisition processes and program execution. Position requires support for several major areas to include :
- Develops new and maintain existing Missile Defense Knowledge Online (MKO) Portal sites;
- Collaborates with MDA leadership and Functional Offices to develop tools to assist with Agency integration and process improvement initiatives;
- Build / maintain QlikSense dashboards;
- Provides day-to-day operational support to MDA / DAX organization;
- Analyzes and maps business processes to determine how the use of technology solutions can streamline operations;
- Performs data analysis and provides quick-turn reports to leadership;
- Maintains MS Visio-based tools such as the MDA Comprehensive Acquisition Process (CAP);
- Works with DAX policy staff to update MDA directives, manuals, templates, instructions, interim guidance memoranda, and other guidance documents;
- Maintains existing and develops new MS InfoPath and Adobe LiveCycle PDF forms;
- Supports executive leadership requests for information, reviews, and critical IT analysis;
- Supports the development of program briefings to senior leaders;
- Manages user accounts and permissions for the MDA / DAX organization.
This is a hybrid remote / onsite position.
Qualifications
- Experience responding to SharePoint customer requests / requirements;
- Degree in a business or IT-related field;
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Expertise in MS SharePoint;
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written);
- Ability to support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and work effectively with others;
- Expert knowledge of information systems and database development / maintenance;
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented;
- Ability to multi-task, show flexibility, and innovate to solve complex problems;
- Knowledge of Federal Government standards and regulations (FAR, DFARS).
Desired
- MDA / DoD Experience;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems or related field;
- Program Office / Acquisition / Contracting related experience;
- Current Interim Secret or Secret Security Clearance Required.
