- Department : Pharmacy Services
- Schedule : Day, 40hrs / wk. This position will float between various retail pharmacies at our Ascension locations. Schedule varies depending on location.
M-F, shifts will be between 830am-630pm. Saturday shifts are rotating - about 1 shift every 8 Saturdays from 830am-430pm.

Responsibilities
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
- Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Triage incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required. Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
Education :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
Additional Preferences
Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
