Full Time; DAYS : am - : pm; Monday - Friday

Expected starting minimum wage is $ Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.

Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Telecare will deliver and manage excellent services and systems of care for persons with serious mental illness.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Billing / Data Specialist is responsible for all billing related tasks including collection of billing data, data entry into County MIS, running reports and reconciliation of data.

Incumbent must maintain accurate and detailed records. Must operate the phone console and provide direction and information for incoming calls.

QUALIFICATIONS

One () year of general office experience is required and High School graduation or a equivalent. Necessary skills include data entry experience and knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and database software.

The ability to work with minimum supervision, set work priorities and function as a self-starter. The ability to read, write and speak English is crucial, as is the willingness to work with mentally impaired adults.

Applicant must be fingerprinted, sign under penalty of perjury that there has been no conviction of any crime, other than minor traffic offenses, and receive clearance from the Department of Justice.

QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF WORK

  • Performs tasks correctly and according to policies and procedures.
  • Performs billing activities, including :
  • Oversees that data is collected accurately and on time.
  • Ensures that clinical staff understands the significance of inputting key Caminar data, progress notes and billing data.
  • Verifies accuracy of data.
  • Enters client information, admissions, discharges, eligibility information and billing data into County MIS.
  • Interfaces with County MIS and confirms that all billing procedures are completed according to County specifications and directions.
  • Runs reports to confirm accuracy of data
  • Reconciles Caminar data to County MIS data to ensure that all services have been billed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Performs computer interface (uploads) of data to Corporate office.
  • Performs the following receptionist duties :
  • Operates the phone console by answering incoming calls, determining the need of the caller and relaying the call.
  • Orders office supplies as requested.
  • Uses good telephone etiquette at all times.
