Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services ERM systems is looking for an experienced Application Architect / Sr. Software Engineering Manager to manage Enterprise Risk Management Applications.

What you will be responsible for

As Deliver Manager you will

  • Lead and manage a global team to deliver technology solutions for the Risk Management applications
  • Provide technical domain expertise in concert with business application knowledge in order to lead the team towards optimal solutions
  • Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • A strong leader with good technical skills who will champion close collaboration across business and technology teams
  • Accountable for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions ensuring best practices and standards are followed
  • Act as an advocate for release / change management
  • Establish clear goals to team and provide constructive feedback.Coach / Mentor the team

  • Understanding of capital markets and working in a bank
  • Understanding of enterprise risk management processes and measures with their applicability
  • 15 plus years of experience as Application Architect or Sr. Engineering Manager
  • Experience in designing technical solitions for Credit Risk, CCAR and risk reporting
  • Extensive experience in efficient design and development of Java / J2EE, N-Tier, high throughput and distributed applications (on-prem and AWS)
  • Experience in AWS Cloud, Big Data solutions as well traditional relational structures
  • Experience in performance tuning
  • Negotiator, consensus builder, good communicator and motivator
  • Confidence in dealing with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills along with an understanding organizational process

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
  • FRM designation will be a plus
  • 15+ years of experience as Sr. Engineering Manager or Lead Architect
  • Financial Services Background with Risk and Regulatory Experience
  • Extensive experience in Java / J2EE, Springboot, ORACLE, Big Data and AWS

Salary Range :

$155,000 - $230,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
