Location : Indianapolis, IN - Hybrid office schedule

We are seeking an experienced Market Research Analyst to lead qualitative and quantitative research for our strategy team.

The Research Analyst will collaborate with strategists to develop a research plan. The Research Analyst leads the process of understanding both the client and their target customer segment.

The Research Analyst manages all aspects of complex surveys including research, client consultations, project management, survey programming / creation, survey administration, data analysis, and reporting.

Furthermore, this analyst will conduct robust secondary research on markets, customers, products, competitors, regulations, and industry trends.

The Market Research Analyst helps formulate the strategy team’s direction during the initial phases of the strategic growth plan process.

The Research Analyst will clearly document qualitative and quantitative research and analysis in a written report.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research efforts for all Prolific’s strategy clients; develop customized research plans to meet the needs of each client
  • Lead the process of understanding the client and its target customer segment
  • Participate in multi-day client immersions; some travel required
  • Manage all aspects of complex surveys including research, client consultations, project management, survey programming / creation, survey administration, data analysis, and reporting
  • Conduct robust secondary research on markets, customers, products, competitors, regulations, and industry trends
  • Help formulate the strategy team’s direction during the initial phases of the strategic growth plan process
  • Clearly document qualitative and quantitative research and analysis in a written report

Requirements

  • B.S. / B.A degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in primary and secondary research
  • Research experience in management consulting, media, marketing, or branding
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and market research methods. Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistical and data analysis tools and techniques required (Tableau, Power BI, Domo)
  • Experience developing surveys and analyzing consumer feedback
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient with MS365 and comfortable organizing data in Excel
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and friendly spirit
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under hard deadlines
  • Experience with data visualization or other data analysis tools is a plus
  • Experienced or comfortable engaging with the non-profit and faith-based market segments is a plus
