Flyspace Productions is a full-service, woman-owned event management and production company. We produce some of the largest festivals and live events in the region, in addition to numerous private, corporate, and community events.
We provide our clients with support from a full-service, in-house Production Department that provides technical equipment including concert audio, lighting, truss, and rigging, as well as the largest fleet of Stageline Mobile Stages on the East Coast.
Our Creative Department provides exceptional expertise in festival production, event planning, brand activations, and fine art installation.
We are seeking a Finance Intern to work with us on research, analysis and project implementation. This position will give the applicant an opportunity to learn more about finance in a real-world setting.
The intern will also be given the opportunity to work with the Controller and Accounting Clerk to understand the day to day financial operations of the company.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements : Understanding or interest in finance and / or accounting Ability to receive, understand, and follow instructions & directions from a supervisor Ability to follow directions and ask clarifying questions Eagerness to learn & willingness to be trained in existing systems or policies A to work closely with clients in a diplomatic & professional manner Reliable transportation to the office location Must be at least 18-years old on the date of hire Must be authorized to work in the United States Qualifications : Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field Physically work in our Pittsburgh, PA based office Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, & problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication Possess a desire to learn, innovate, and iterate on problems and solutions.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization. Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting. Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
