About the Role : The Strategic Operations Manager role is ideal for those with management consulting or finance (investment banking or private equity investing) backgrounds seeking hands-on experience in a fast-growing sponsor backed company.
This position is intended to be rotational and cross-functional in nature with limitless growth potential within the organization.
You'll collaborate with local partners but also frequently interact with top executives (our CEO, SVP Operations, Head of Finance, Strategy etc) on key strategic and operational initiatives.
You'll leverage your analytical prowess to generate data-driven insights that drive growth and profitability. Crucially, the initiatives you lead will necessitate stakeholder buy-in at the facility level, relationships you'll cultivate and nurture.
This position offers direct P&L management experience, opportunities to expand your strategic and operational skills, and vast potential for upward mobility.
Responsibilities :
- Empowering regional staff with training to optimize revenue growth and effectively manage costs.
- Establish KPI’s and other performance metrics that you will ultimately educate and get the buy-in for utilization at the facility level.
- Conduct comprehensive facility assessments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for process enhancement, ensuring optimal use of resources and alignment with organizational objectives.
At times, that will mean leveraging technology solutions when appropriate to enhance efficiencies within the practice.
- Develop and implement Best Practices at the facility level.
- Working cross-departmentally with Operations, Strategy. Marketing, Finance and the Exec team on ad-hoc projects.
- Fostering a collaborative team culture where staff can work together on projects with a common goal / vision for success.
Qualifications : 3-7 years of experience working in an analytically intensive field (e.g. management consulting, private equity, investment banking).
MBA preferred but not required
Required Skills : Must be highly motivated, results-driven professional who can thrive in a team-oriented environment. Strong Excel and PointPoint skills, including data analysis and financial modeling
