This role offers a hybrid work environment and a competitive salary of up to $150K plus bonus.

About the Role :

As the Director of Accounting, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights.

This position requires a CPA, experience in both public accounting and corporate accounting for private equity-backed companies, and ideally, healthcare industry experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Leadership : Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Compliance and Reporting : Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements, preparing accurate financial statements and reports.
• Strategic Planning : Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
• Audit Management : Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Team Development : Manage and mentor the accounting team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification : CPA certification is required.
• Experience : Public accounting experience.Corporate accounting experience within a private equity-backed company.Healthcare industry experience is a significant plus.
• Skills : Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
