This role is based onsite in the Chicago office 4 days per week.
Responsibilities :
- Leverage your HR expertise to provide guidance and support to HR Generalists in handling complex HR issues, policy interpretation, and HR best practices.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, conduct investigations and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, ensuring they are consistent with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees and managers on HR-related topics, including diversity and inclusion, performance management, and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on strategic initiatives such as talent development, succession planning, and organizational change management.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for process improvements and HR strategy adjustments.
- Actively participate in change management initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and buy-in within the location.
- Support HR managers in day-to-day HR operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Identify potential gaps in team structure and capabilities at the site level.
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and handling complex HR issues.
- Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate HR teams effectively.
- Understanding of performance review processes and employee development.
- Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HR data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with employees and management.
