Senior Event Coordinator
Location : Austin, TX ONSITE
Duration : 8 months
Pay : up to $36.50 / hour, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Senior Event Coordinator to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 8 month contract.
This role will be 40 hours per week and will be onsite in Austin, TX.
Our client is looking for someone who has a strong corporate end-to-end event planning experience with large scale events.
Senior Event Coordinator Responsibilities :
- Manage events and programs for the corporate campus.
- Develop and execute a calendar of site wide events. This includes meetups, all hands, and other company-wide programs.
- Create communications, marketing materials, and digital assets for the events and programs.
- Handle the logistics and execution for the events.
- Ensure that the events stay within budget and manage purchase orders, vendor on-boarding, SOW creation, and other logistics.
- Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute other employee experiences like office welcomes, new hires, and culture events.
- Handle event debriefs, gather surveys, collect feedback from attendees and stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the internal microsite for the campus.
Senior Event Coordinator Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in event planning.
- Previous experience with sourcing vendors, managing budgets, and marketing for events.
- Can bring creativity and problem solving skills to the role as well as multitasking.
- Ideally some tech experience in the background, but not an absolute must.
