Our client is seeking an Event Planner for a two week event

Event Planner

Pay Range : $27-33hr

Duration 7 / 15-7 / 25 / 24

Location : NY, NY, 10036

What's the Job?

Responsibilities include : Working on-site at the conference at the Westin New York at Times Square July 15th - July 25th at the

Westin New York at Times Square (270 West 43rd St). The hours would be

7 : 30am-5pm with a one hour lunch break each day. Minimum dress required at

the conference is dress shirt, dark colored slacks or skirt, tie for men and

formal comfortable shoes. Below are the duties they will be preforming.

1. Onsite setup of the conference room and registration desk including

transport of materials from onsite office to event room, distribution of

hard copy materials, assisting in the organization of registration desk

area.

2. Greet, check-in and provide name badges and course materials to

conference attendees.

3. Throughout the day distribute and gather evaluations and hard copy

materials at the start and end of each session.

4. Direct attendees to appropriate rooms for breakout sessions.

5. Monitor registration to help answer general questions and direct

attendees to breakout rooms, when applicable.

6. Maintain an organized and stocked (brochures, pamphlets, pens, etc.)

registration desk area.

7. Assist in collecting any materials left in the conference room at the

end of the day, packing up registration desk for transport to the onsite

office.
