Selected candidates for hire must be willing to work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. This is not a remote position. Must be able to obtain Secret-level clearance from the DoD.
What You’ll Get to Do :
Responsible for managing a team of experienced professionals designing, developing, and creating innovative 3D media elements for the training developed under the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning effort for the Fire Controlman Aegis (FCA).
Tasks will include reviewing the development of 2D / 3D images for complex objects. Must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools and Autodesk 3D Max.
Responsible for tracking assignments, coordinating photoshoots, supporting customer design meetings, as well as conceptualization of media content.

Review Government Furnished Information.
Review all training content and provide input to Instructional Designers.
Lead design meetings with SMEs and 3D Animators.
Review 3D still images and complex animations for use in Unity.
Collaborate with other designers to ensure a consistent user experience.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
BS / BA degree and 7 or more years’ experience.
Prior experience leading a design team developing complex media.
Experience interacting with management and customer organizations at all levels.
Expertise with Autodesk 3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder).
3D Animation - 3D modeling, sculpting, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering.
Motion Graphics - 2D / 3D animated microlearning videos or assets. Building animated content from scratch.
Graphic Design - Image manipulation, illustration, page layout, typography.
Video and Audio editing / production : cutting, splicing, and compositing.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :
Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL Projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Secret-level security clearance.
