Selected candidates for hire must be willing to work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. This is not a remote position. Must be able to obtain Secret-level clearance from the DoD.
What You’ll Get to Do :
Responsible for designing, developing, and creating innovative 3D media elements for the training developed under the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning program for the Fire Controlman Aegis (FCA) rating.
Tasks will include creating 3D animations and complex objects. Must have experience using Autodesk 3D Max. Duties may include planning, designing, and preparing 3D media elements, as well as strategy and conceptualization of new designs to the training team.

Review Government Furnished Information.
Review all training content and provide input to Instructional Designers.
Lead design meetings with SMEs and Instructional Designers.
Create 3D still images and complex animations for use in Unity.
Collaborate with other designers to ensure a consistent user experience.
Support onsite photoshoots.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
BA / BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.
Prior experience working with a training team developing complex media.
Expertise with Autodesk 3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder).
Prior experience working with a training team developing complex media.

3D Animation 3D modeling, sculpting, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering.
Motion Graphics 2D / 3D animated microlearning videos or assets. Building animated content from scratch.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :
Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL Projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Active Secret-level security clearance.
