Our current project involves supporting a hospital client in the Eastern Time Zone with their implementation of Epic on AWS.
Post-implementation, we will provide ongoing infrastructure managed services.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a Certified Epic Enterprise Client Systems Administrator with experience in Citrix Administration to join our team.
In this role, you will be pivotal in helping our client implement Epic on AWS, followed by providing long-term infrastructure managed services.
This is a remote position, but applicants must be available during Eastern Time Zone (EST) working hours and fully dedicated to this project.
Key Responsibilities :
- Epic Environment Management : Administer, configure, and support the Epic infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Management and support from a technical perspective of the Interconnect, Hyperspace, EPS, Web BLOB, Hyperspace Web, BCA, MyChart, Carelink Healthy Planet, Haiku, Rover, Care Everywhere, Home Health, Kuiper, and System Pulse services.
- Citrix and NetScaler Administration : Manage Citrix environments, including configuration, maintenance, and optimization of NetScaler for application delivery and security.
- System Integration : Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to ensure the Epic system interfaces effectively with AWS-based solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Provide advanced troubleshooting for Epic-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of technical problems.
- Security Compliance : Maintain security standards and compliance requirements within the Epic environment, particularly in alignment with healthcare regulations.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement enhancements to maintain system efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with IT teams, healthcare professionals, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of Epic systems.
- Documentation : Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years as an Epic Client Systems Administrator or similar role with hands-on experience in Epic environment management.
- Certifications : Epic certifications (ECSA) are required. Citrix and NetScaler certifications are highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in managing Citrix environments and optimizing NetScaler configurations. Experience with AWS cloud environments is a plus but not mandatory.
- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Patient-Centered Focus : A commitment to supporting healthcare professionals and enhancing patient care through reliable and innovative technology solutions.
- Availability to work Eastern Time Zone (EST) hours is required.
Preferred Skills :
- Previous experience implementing Epic on AWS.
- Experience providing long-term infrastructure managed services for healthcare organizations.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms and automation tools is a plus.
