About the Role
The Vice President of Commercial Operations is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth & operational excellence across the organization.
This role requires a deep understanding of the sales process, market dynamics, & the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of building & leading high-performing teams, optimizing sales processes, & delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities :
- Develop & execute the overall commercial operations strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Build & lead a high-performing commercial operations team, fostering a culture of innovation & continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, implementation, & optimization of sales processes, systems, & tools to enhance sales efficiency & effectiveness.
- Leverage advanced analytics & data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, & areas for improvement.
- Develop & implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance & drive accountability.
- Partner closely with sales, marketing, & finance teams to ensure alignment & support business goals.
- Manage & optimize sales forecasting, budgeting, & quota setting processes.
- Drive sales enablement initiatives to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, knowledge, & resources.
- Identify & implement new technologies & processes to improve sales productivity & customer experience.
- Provide strategic leadership & mentorship to the commercial operations team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in building & managing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills & ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Expertise in CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, & business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies & best practices.
- Proven ability to drive process improvement & operational efficiency.
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $225,000-330,000 .
This role will also be eligible for bonus / commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
